Join artists from Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre in this unique opportunity – a workshop exploring devising and dance, to be conducted entirely in Mandarin Chinese.

This workshop, led by award-winning performer Yang Ziyi, will shed some insight into the devising and choreography behind The Dreamer – a physical theatre piece by Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre created in collaboration with British physical theatre giants Gecko.

The workshop will be divided into two. In the first half, participants will have the chance to play and experiment using the devising process behind The Dreamer, and in the second half, participants will learn some of the choreography in The Dreamer.
Although the workshop is based around The Dreamer, no knowledge of the show is required to participate.
